Gyldensteen Strand means "Gold stone beach" and is located on east of Bogense. It used to drain all lagoon-like fjord water for hay and cattle grazing. The lagoon was reformed in 2014, and much of the nature has returned. You can see the Archimedes screw pump, which was actually used for drainage, is on the east side here.
